    Hi Folks:

Yesterday we successfully tested our 4 JuiceBox Pro 40 chargers in our under-building garage.

We signed the agreement with Xcel on Feb 4, 2022 (for the state grant). So it took just over 12 months - with my continuous prodding and follow-up - since signing the documents. But the chargers are finally in and working. I charged my EV yesterday after completing the testing of all 4 chargers.

If anyone would like to see our installation or hear the good, the bad and the ugly - I encourage you to contact me (720) 840-5715.

Hidden River Lodge just completed their install of ChargePoint CT4000 Dual Port Charger in the garage.

They also filed for a $9000 grant to help pay for the equipment and install. The station will also collect a small fee from the vehicle owner that will help pay for the energy use and annual costs of the equipment.

Argentine is in the process of evaluating installing EV charging stations in our flat lot. We have a passionate EV homeowner who is pushing the agenda.   I have done the economics using what I think is the on-going cost of operating the stations, it doesn't appear to "pay for itself" therefore would result in a dues increase for our owners (including to owners who do not own an EV). We do not have garages so therefore we have to take advantage of Xcel's grant to get the infrastructure (Colorado grant doesn't work for us because we won't have any public access).  We are also very concerned about snow push-back damage and vandalism considering the lack of EV stations throughout Keystone.  Our parking lot is also gated with only 25 parking spaces.  We see damage to the gate nearly once a year so I'm assuming we'll see EV station damage too.  I would like to talk to someone who has installed EV stations to confirm costs, usage & maintenance.

Silvermill is in the process of evaluating and plan to install EV chargers in our garage in early 2023. We are using a consulting company that assisted Buffalo/Dakoda and The Timbers with their charging stations installation.

We have installed EV charging stations.

Last spring we applied for some grant which assisted us in the cost of installation.

If you have any question Jake Watkins our property manager sort of over saw the installation.

Decatur has elected to not address the EV issue and allow free use of 120V plugs in the common garage that were initially installed for block heaters.

for outside stations, I don't see a way those can be implemented without being in the way of snow pushback in our parking spaces.  The amount of damage caused to the stations over the winter will probably be prohibitive to installing them at this point.

I've received a few queries about whether any HOA has addressed either of the two topics below regarding EV charging.

    1. Has anyone installed, looked into, or in the process of installing EV charging stations in an outdoor parking lot?

    2. Has any HOA created policies related to owners wanting to install an EV charging stations in their private garage, whether that garage is owned by the individual, i.e. single family home, or that garage is owned by the HOA?

    Thanks for your input!
